CREEKSIDE KIDS
CREEKSIDE KIDS
Creekside Kids is for 12 weeks-5th grade. We believe in legacy! We know that the next generation will do amazing things, and we want to be part of our kids knowing the love of Jesus, and the power they have inside of them to impact their world. We believe we are helping shape the future by equipping our kids to know and share the hope we have in Jesus. We want them to know how valuable they are to the kingdom of God.
We would love to see you and your family at Creekside Kids!
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Here is what you can expect when visiting Creekside Kids for the first time:
When you arrive, enter through the side kid's entrance to the left of the building. One of our volunteers will assist you in checking your child and family into our system. We would be happy to answer any questions you have upon arrival.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: we value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone)
- parent/guardian names
- child's name
- child's birthdate
- home address
- phone number
- any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
From there, you will be able to walk your child to their age-appropriate room. There they will experience teachings specific to their age group, have small group time, create crafts that go along with their teachings, and build relationships with other kids their age!
HOW CHECK-IN WORKS
Before Service- One of our volunteers will assist you in checking in your child for Creekside Kids. After finding your child's name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold onto the matching name tag for pick-up.
During Service- In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will text the phone number that we have in the database. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child's room.
After service- After the service is complete, you will return to the child's room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
4th & 5th Grade Discipleship Class.
This class is one of our favorite things we have at Creekside. We are passionate about discipleship. That is why we wanted to create a class that allows our 4th-5th graders to really start making their faith their own. We want them to know how simple it is to follow Jesus and how when we do he can change our lives and those around us! We walk through teachings and have questions that feel more like our Student Ministry which keeps them engaged and allows them to process how to apply God's word to their lives. We believe it is so important for 4th-5th graders to be in an environment that gives room for them to grow in their faith. Our 4th-5th grade class facilities do just that. This class is a great place for your child to be equipped to follow Jesus. They also gain great friendships that will continue into their teenage years.
Kids Camp!
We are so excited to have our Creekside Kids camp this summer! Our kid's camp allows us to create an exciting atmosphere for kids to encounter Jesus and build community all while in their own neighborhood. Creekside members will host a 75-minute VBS-style camp at their homes for their neighbors. The camp will be facilitated and performed by a Mission Team, mostly of our own student leaders. Our aim is to help our Creekside members share the gospel of Jesus and build gospel-centered relationships with their neighbors.
Power Surge Sunday:
We are inviting everyone's kids and family that connected with us to our Sunday morning service where we will have a huge event to welcome all these new kids and families. We want them to know there is a place for them to belong to and through Jesus, a life in him, for them to flourish.
FAQ
Have questions? We have the answers!
- Our security team ensures that no one enters the Kid's hallway who is not a parent dropping off a child. Once check-in is closed, no one may enter the hallway without a dated printed pick-up tag. Our security team guards and patrols the kid's hallway during the entirety of the service, so please be prepared to show your ticket when you're ready to come to pick up your kiddos.
- All kids team volunteers have up-to-date background checks on file. two adults in each classroom, only female volunteers assist with diapering and bathroom breaks -every child is given a name tag with a unique code on it (which changes every week) and parents are given a matching tag with that same code.
Creekside Kids is a fun place for kids to learn about the radical love of God for them so that they will be transformed by that reality. We hope that as they worship with us, hear stories from the Bible, play games, and make friends, that they will learn how to be disciples of Jesus through praying, reading the Bible, receiving the Gospel, and being filled by the Holy Spirit. Lessons and activities vary by age group, as our toddlers-3rd grade environments follow a differentiated unit typically rooted with a memory verse and fun central theme. Our 4th and 5th grade environment follows a discipleship track written by our Next Gen Pastor intended to lead those kids in a deeper walk with Jesus and prepare them for the middle school discipleship experience.
Be sure to join our Facebook group (Parents of Creekside Kids) to stay up to date with any news or upcoming events, and check your email for news as well. The best way to stay connected is to talk to your kids and your kid's teachers about what they're learning at church, and practice it at home with them too! We believe disciplining the next generation is a team effort, and we're so grateful for the opportunity to partner with you and support your efforts as the parent however we can!

After our time of worship and prayer, the 4th & 5th graders head back to their classroom so that the K-3rd kids can begin their lesson, which includes a video Bible story, songs, and activities. We are walking through the Bible chronologically together with The Gospel Project curriculum, highlighting key memory verses as we go!
4th & 5th grade: Our 4th & 5th grade environment is intentionally "set apart" for these young leaders and future middle schoolers! Their room is decked out with cozy "couches" and special snacks.
